The She-Shed is born!
Rehabbing this old shed meant: ​
ripping out the stained, weathered flooring and siding,
putting in new windows, doors, stamped concrete flooring, electrical, metal roof...
and a front porch!
And then it gets better!
We decide to change up the decor, add some amenities, and see if this vintage she-shed might attract an Airbnb audience... and ta-dah!
Adding some modern conveniences, cozy details, private outdoor hot shower - and The She-Shed becomes The Bird's Nest!
A totally unique, warm, and inviting experience

After the success of The Bird's Nest, we decided to give shed #2 a makeover, and thus, The Doghouse was born!
Next Project: We offered up a 50amp RV hook-up on HipCamp, including utilities and water, shared use of a beautiful back yard, private outdoor shower, large back patio and grills for cooking!
The RV Option was such a hit, we decided to double down and set up RV Site #2!
The next (maybe logical? definitely exciting!) step was to hire an incredible cohost to oversee cleaning and operations of a stunning Virginia Cabin on sitting on 27-acres
And now we're here - bringing you the next creative venue... a place to make magic and memories, to rest and restore, and to fill your soul (and your cup).

We loved staying at the birds nest and plan to return again. The space was cute and quaint, a glampers dream getaway! This gem is a diamond in the ruff find and exceeded our expectations with cleanliness, amenities such as coffee, cookies, snacks, etc. Lisa went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

A 5-star experience with a 5-star host! Lisa was super communicative and gave very clear instructions that made our stay extra pleasant. The space is beautiful - comfortable, clean, and spacious, and lots of nice little touches that we really appreciated. Had a great time sipping wine while sampling through the record collection. If you're thinking of coming to this area, and looking at places to stay.... this is it! Lovely cabin, great view, and it just "feels" right. Lisa was extremely easy to work with and was flexible with our unexpected change in plans.
