Lucky’s Lookout

Lucky's Lookout is a Luxury 14'x16' Safari Tent tucked away on the farthest side of the Simply Glampin' glampsite. You have your own private bathroom easily accessed directly from your tent deck. You also have your own fire pit that also serves as a grill and you truly have a lookout over the mountainside that drops below you. Listen and you'll hear the babbling creek that runs between the two adjoining properties. Propane camp stove, 20 quart igloo cooler, coffee maker, and ice maker provided.

We do have another Safari tent right next door. If your group needs more space, please reach out for our availability to reserve both tents!

Simply Glampin’ has all you need to retreat into the woods and enjoy a getaway to reconnect with nature. Our spacious canvas wall tent is beautifully decorated and supplied with plenty of amenities to enjoy your stay – see Amenities below.

AMENITIES

Our spacious canvas wall tent is beautifully decorated and supplied with the following: - Wifi, electricity, water - Aspen Log King bed & luxury mattress - Bed linens (sheets, comforter, pillows & throw) - Electric blanket - Bath towels & bath robes - Bodywash/Shampoo/Conditioner - Coffee pot and coffee - Ice maker - Fire pit/grill rack - 4 Adirondack chairs - 2-4 Adult Size Camping Cots - 120 quart cooler - 6 foot metal table - Propane camp stove (if requested) - Fire wood - Wood Burning Stove A private bathhouse is easily accessible as you walk right out of your tent and into the bathroom from your deck. The bathroom has of all the traditional conveniences of cold/hot water shower and sink, as well as a traditional flushing toilet. After much deliberation and research with other successful luxury tent glampsite owners, the decision was made to not provide a kitchenette inside the canvas tents. This will help us eliminate the inevitable attraction and entry of critters both small and large from entering the tent. We simply ask guest to please respect our position on this and help us to keep our tents clean, critter free, and safe. Due to the natural outdoor environment in which we are located and the fabrics and canvas of the tent, as well as comfort for future guests, we do not allow pets at this time.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests will be provided with a lockbox code to enter their private bathhouse. You will park just a short distance away from the tent and unload. We provide a wagon to help you unload/load your belongings. You will be navigating an incline from the parking area along the road, across, and into our property.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

Ice, take-out food, indoor dining, boat rentals, swimming, adventure excursion is available 2 miles away at Lakes End Grill on Wayah Rd. Public Boat Ramp is 2/10 of a mile from our site. Take a Right out of Wayah Ridge, and LEFT at 1st paved road on the left, across the street from Nantahala Weddings & Events. Nearest grocery store is in Andrews (Ingles) or Murphy. There is a Walmart and Lowes in Murphy as well as more shopping and dining options. Franklin is approximately 45 minutes and through the mountains, but does have shopping and dining options. We do have another Safari tent right next door. If your group needs more space, please reach out for our availability to reserve both tents!

WHAT TO PACK

You will only need to bring your personal items, food, drinks & spirits. Our goal is to provide you with an easy, upscale camping experience by comfortably reconnecting with nature!
